I need help :| with pport.?

Okay so i'm only 13 and my parents are making a pport. We're going to minneapolis and i was wondering how long it takes for a pport to come. I'm in canada btw, and we're in winnipeg. I'm wondering because i really wanna go to minneapolis..because this summer is SO boring. :|
