Why are the Jonas Brothers so famous?

Bands such as Pop Shuvit, Primus, Coheed and Cambria are indeed more skilled than these rock posers, but also the clics such as Molly Hatchet, David Bowie, Rush, Guns 'n' Roses, are all more skilled as well, but slowly dying out as these so called "rock bands" hit the scene. They have no bist, their guitarists mess up chords at live shows so much it may as well be a different song, their drummer's best is an 8/4, and their vocalist barely has two octaves. And if you're going to defend this with "Screw you. Jonas Brothers rock." Don't, I've got facts, you have opinions. Personal thought aside, it's proven, they have no skill. Any thoughts?
