I've tried experimenting co-habitation of red claw with my goldfish....?
and they both have been doing pretty well. in the pet store that i purchased these in, i asked if it was really needed for the to have some island to climb onto at times to rest on for air in the tank, and they said "not really, they are fully aquatic" I also checked online to see if they " both goldfish and red claw could live together in the same tank, and one site said yes, it is possible. after experimenting for these two days, and seeing that there were no fatalities, seeing as i have kept close watch over them, ready to remove them at the slightest sign of trouble, and keeping the water clean....ect; I am inclined to keep them together, unless someone can give me further commentary or counsel against what i have attempted and tried so far. please email me at dedication2luvu2@yahoo.com with any information that woulod help me. i don't want to see any of my fish or die. i have 4 tanks altogether, with other kinds of tropical fish. one of the reasons why i moved the to the other tank is that the crabs were capturing the little tropical fish that i bought and eating them. but with the goldfish which are very big, they are too scared to try that not. plus they are great scavengers, i thought they could help with the cleaning of the tank...... what say you all? thanks alot.
