I NEED boy help!?

I REALLY need help with this guy at my school. I go to middle school, in eighth grade and there's this guy, who's the clic 'bad boy'. He's got the pearly whites, devilish smirk, and winks at girls so easily I bet everyone likes him! And yet the ONLY WAY I've talked to him was joking around with some of my guy friends and in lab! I can't tell if he likes me... He treats me A LOT different than the other girls though... When this guy was making fun of me, he came up to him and punched him in the jaw! It was so cool! (even though I had just slapped the guy about seventy times) Am I acting like a fan girl? And does he like me, or is he just toying with me?
