Could i become a pro golfer?

well im 18 yrs old, and i am a legit 12 handicap, i have been playing golf for about 2 1/2 years very off and on, but ive been playing a lot recently and have truly fallen in love with the game, do i stand a chance of going pro if i were to get some lessons and practice real hard?
